…I’m a trans Disabled neurodiverse artist based in Durham running EmoryArtModel.
Growing up, I never saw myself in any media or art so I started EmoryArtModel to try and change that for other trans Disabled people.
I make a variety of art with representation and diversity in mind, creating art focussing exclusively on queer, trans, neurodiverse, and Disabled bodies and experiences, and highlight these people’s experiences reflected in my art.
I can’t wait to share my art with you!
I create a unique variety of art, from zines, badges and stickers, to A4 lino prints and large-scale abstract canvases.
Whatever I make, I take my time to do it, through practising the idea of slow researched art where you enjoy the creative process as well as the end result.
I regularly donate art and a percentage of my profits to fundraisers and raffles for gender affirming care for trans people. I also make custom illustrations for distributions in care boxes for charities such as Trans Giving UK.
When modelling, I share my body with artists so more people can learn about trans disabled bodies and what they look like. I have modelled for Queer Life Drawing online as well as some local life drawing sessions around the North East.
All of my work is informed by research.
